Degree Programme (AEDP), a new initiative for final-year engineering students to gain practical industry experience and skills.

The programme aims to enhance students' employability by providing them with hands-on industry experience beyond traditional classroom learning.

The AEDP is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and guidelines from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), reflecting the university's commitment to modern education standards.

Under the AEDP, students will spend their seventh and eighth semesters in an industry apprenticeship, earning academic credits for the training.

Eligible students must have a minimum CGPA of 6.75 in their fifth semester to be considered for the programme, with higher CGPA students given preference.

The university has clarified that students pursuing Honours, Minor, or Honours with Research degrees are not eligible for the AEDP, limiting the programme's scope to traditional engineering students.
