The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced a fresh NEET-PG 2026 examination for candidates whose test was interrupted at two centres in Jaipur. The re-examination will be conducted in Jaipur on September 5, beginning at 3 pm, according to the board’s announcement.
The affected candidates were taking the computer-based examination at test centres 41,682 and 41,683 at the iON Digital Zone in Sitapura. NBEMS said internal power-supply problems prevented them from completing the examination held on August 30 and apologised for the disruption.
The remedy is limited to candidates affected at the two identified centres. The board’s notice does not announce a nationwide repeat of NEET-PG. Candidates should therefore distinguish the targeted Jaipur re-examination from unsupported claims suggesting that the complete national examination has been rescheduled.
The episode places attention on continuity arrangements at computer-based examination centres, particularly backup electricity and incident reporting. For the affected candidates, the immediate requirements are to monitor the NBEMS portal, download the revised admit card when issued and follow the venue and reporting instructions printed on it.
