Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat welcomed the BRICS Tourism Ministers. In a social media post, Mr. Shekhawat said that Rajasthan is a fine example of India's centuries-old heritage, vibrant culture and unparalleled hospitality. He expressed confidence that the visiting dignitaries would experience the warmth and richness of the state's traditions during their stay.
The two-day meeting is expected to deliberate on several key issues, including strengthening mutual cooperation in the tourism sector, promoting sustainable and responsible tourism, the use of AI in tourism, skill development, and seamless travel facilities for tourists.
